Dr Sethi is a national and international leader in the field of Nose and Sinus Surgery. He is also a pioneer in the field of Minimally Invasive Skull Base Surgery .
Dr Sethi has been the recipient of numerous awards and accolades from all over the world. Some of his awards include Honorary Membership of the South African Society of Otolaryngology & Head and Neck surgery (SSOHNS) and Malaysian Society of Otolaryngologist – Head & Neck Surgeons (MSOHNS).
He is recipient of the prestigious Honor Award from the American academy of Otolaryngology and Head Neck Surgery in 2002 for his scientific contributions to the Academy.
In 2005, he was awarded a medal and the “Pioneer of ASEAN Rhinology Award” by the President of ASEAN ORL Foundation.
Dr Sethi received his training in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at Singapore General Hospital. He became the Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons in 1987.
He completed a clinical fellowship in Rhinology and Endoscopic Sinus Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University in 1993.
Dr Sethi featured in the “Entrepreneurs of Singapore General Hospital” in 2000.
He serves on the Editorial and Review Boards of several scientific journals and has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles, 12 book chapters and 2 books.
He is a much sought after speaker who has delivered over 650 scientific presentations including keynote addresses in more than 18 countries including United States, Canada, Europe, Turkey, Egypt, South Africa, India, China, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Middle East, Pakistan, Taiwan, Philippines, Australia, Brazil. He has organized several workshops in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery all over the world and has received international recognitions for his work in Endoscopic Pituitary and Skull Base Surgery.
He has been an instructor at the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Head Neck Surgery for the past 16 years (since 1996) having presented more than 50 instructional courses.
